Infection Prevention and Control Partners combines a wealth of scientific, clinical and commercial expertise offering healthcare professionals or industry partners and a unique service toward IPC solutions. With over 35 years' experience in healthcare, IPC Partners support healthcare professionals’ IPC setup to help them to deliver world-class healthcare as safely and effectively as possible including outbreak investigation and IPC service reviews. We also support industry partners in various aspects of their business from expert panels to answering key questions unlocking valuable insight from key decision makers, to product evaluation and implementation support.
IPC Partners has experience of working with a range of stakeholders in different fields within IPC including environmental hygiene, medical devices, hand hygiene, healthcare epidemiology, and pharmaceutical products. Working in partnership with industry partners and professionals to improve patient safety and reduce the risk of healthcare associated infections (HCAI) and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is key to our purpose.
Dr Phil Norville
Dr Phil Norville is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of IPC Partners and has over 15 years experience working in microbiology and IPC. Phil has a Masters in IPC and a PhD in Microbiology and has undertaken a range of private and public sector roles. Phil worked as Clinical and Scientific Director for one of the world's leading IPC companies as well as IPC lead and manager for one of the UK’s largest NHS University Teaching Hospitals. Phil combines a deep technical understanding of healthcare with commercial acumen ensuring profitability and commercial impact are at forefront of conversations with healthcare professionals and customers. Phil has a proven track record of collaboration with healthcare professionals, academic institutions and industry partners.
Dr Jon Otter
Dr. Jon Otter is a Consultant Clinical Scientist, who is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath) and holds a PhD in Microbiology from King’s College London. He is the Director of Infection Prevention and Control (DIPC) at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, and an Honorary Senior Lecturer in HCAI and AMR at Imperial College London. In addition to his experience in leading IPC services in several large and complex NHS Trusts, Jon has >25 years of experience in nurturing innovation that reduces the risk of HCAI and AMR in healthcare settings. He is the co-founder of IPC Partners.
